PPF, or Paint Protection Film, is a transparent polyurethane film fitted to painted body panels. It absorbs part of everyday mechanical impact before it reaches the clear coat.
AntiGravel particularly suits new or excellent-condition cars whose original paint should be preserved. Protect vulnerable panels, the whole front or, if preferred, the entire car.
WHAT DOES PPF PROTECT AGAINST?
Everyday damage often starts small.
Stones and sand
Small stones and abrasive road dust can chip the clear coat. PPF provides a physical barrier.

The film helps reduce the effect of minor everyday scratches and surface abrasion on original paint.

AntiGravel's transparent TPU-based PPF combines physical protection with optical clarity and gloss. Its flexibility allows a professional installer to follow complex panels and curves.
The film used is approximately 200 μm thick, providing a substantial physical layer while remaining visually discreet.
SELF-HEALING TOP LAYER
Small surface marks need not remain visible.
The PPF top layer is self-healing. Minor surface scratches and light wash marks may gradually smooth out with warmth.
This applies to the film's top surface: PPF does not repair deep damage or already-damaged paint. It takes everyday wear to help preserve the original finish.

Does PPF change the car's colour?
Clear gloss PPF is designed to keep original paint visible. Quality film, correctly fitted, should remain as discreet as possible.
Does PPF stop every stone chip?
It substantially reduces mechanical impact reaching the paint, but no film makes a car invulnerable. A severe impact can damage both film and the underlying surface.
What does self-healing film mean?
Minor surface scratches and light wash marks in the top layer may gradually smooth out with warmth. The film does not repair deep cuts or damaged paint.
Must I cover the whole car?
No. For many cars, the front and other high-wear areas matter most. Choose coverage according to usage, condition and budget.
Can FormulaU Ceramic be applied over PPF?
Yes, on compatible PPF. The film provides physical protection, while the ceramic treatment adds water and dirt repellency and simplifies care.
Does PPF need maintenance?
Yes. It simplifies paint protection but still needs regular, correct washing. We provide care instructions after installation.
