SPECIALIST SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR CAR

Unusual problems need a different approach.

Regular car washing and interior cleaning deal with everyday dirt. Damage & Sanitation is for more complex problems: strong or recurring odours, moisture, smoke and soot damage, mould or unusual industrial contamination on the car's surfaces.

For this type of damage, we do not select a method based on appearance alone. We first seek to understand the cause and extent of the problem, then decide what cleaning, restoration or refinishing is actually needed.

Our aim is a sensible restoration, avoiding unnecessary work or replacement when existing components can be restored.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

Show us the problem — we will explain where to start.

  1. Odours

Cigarette smoke, moisture, mould, food, organic contamination and other strong or persistent odours.

  2. Interior damage

Moisture, soot, smoke damage and other problems that standard interior cleaning cannot resolve.

  3. Paintwork contamination

Paint dust and overspray, concrete, cement and other unusual contaminants bonded to bodywork or glass.

  4. An unusual problem

If you are unsure what to do, send photographs and a description. We will assess whether and how we can help.

ODOURS AND THE INTERIOR

An unpleasant odour calls for treating the cause, not just the symptom.

Cigarette smoke, moisture, mould, food residue, organic contamination and other strong odours can penetrate fabrics, upholstery and hard-to-reach areas.

Depending on the situation, work may include thorough interior cleaning, treatment of affected surfaces, NewMatizing deep cleaning and additional odour-removal methods.

The method and scope are always selected for the specific problem.

Damage & Sanitation thorough interior treatment

SMELLSTOP

When an odour returns, the problem is usually more than the air.

Air fresheners or cleaning a single surface are often insufficient for strong odours. Contamination may have reached seats, carpets, headlining, ventilation or other parts of the cabin.

The SmellStop approach aims to reduce the problem at its source. Before starting, we assess where the odour is likely to originate and which areas need treatment.

Severe or long-standing damage may require several methods. Results depend on the contamination and how deeply it has penetrated the materials.

ALLERGYCONTROL

The problem may lie beyond the reach of routine cleaning.

Dust, pollen and other particles enter through doors, windows and ventilation, gradually collecting on interior fabrics and surfaces.

If the cabin needs more thorough remediation, we can also assess whether the ventilation and hard-to-reach areas require treatment.

AllergyControl is intended for cases where the aim goes beyond a visibly clean interior to more thorough care of the cabin environment.

UNUSUAL EXTERIOR CONTAMINATION

Concrete, paint dust and industrial contamination do not always mean repainting.

A car can suffer damage without anything being poured onto it directly. Airborne particles from industrial sites, construction or painting can settle and bond to bodywork, glass and other exterior surfaces.

Common issues include paint dust, overspray, concrete and cement spots, and other bonded contaminants.

Removing unusual contaminants from a car's exterior

CONTAMINATION ASSESSMENT

The right removal method depends on what reached the car.

  • Some contamination remains on the surface; other substances may bond more strongly to the clear coat or already have damaged the paint. One cleaning method is therefore not suitable for every problem.
  • We first assess the contaminant and paintwork. We then select the safest appropriate removal method and, where necessary, recommend correction, polishing or protection afterwards.
  • The priority is removing contamination without causing unnecessary further damage.

DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

Some damage may form part of an insurance claim.

Paint overspray, concrete, industrial contamination or other unexpected external damage may be covered by insurance.

We can assess the damage, determine the necessary work and help describe the restoration required. The insurer always decides coverage and compensation according to the circumstances of the case.

If your car has suffered unexpected damage, we recommend having the surface assessed before attempting aggressive cleaning or polishing yourself.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We start by diagnosing the problem.

  1. Assessment

We examine the damage, contamination or odour and seek to identify its cause.

  2. Work plan

We select suitable cleaning, remediation or restoration methods and agree on the scope.

  3. Cleaning and restoration

We carry out the necessary work, starting with the safest, least aggressive suitable method.

  4. Inspection

We check the result and recommend aftercare or additional surface protection where appropriate.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Can you remove cigarette odour from a car?

In many cases, cigarette smoke odour can be substantially reduced or removed. The work depends on how heavily and for how long the cabin has been exposed. We assess contamination and recommend a suitable method before starting.

Is one treatment enough to remove an odour?

That depends on its cause. Contamination deep in upholstery, fabrics or other interior components may require several cleaning and treatment stages.

Do you treat mould and moisture damage?

Yes, we assess interior problems involving moisture and mould. Where possible, the cause of moisture must also be addressed, otherwise the problem may return.

Can you remove paint dust or overspray?

In many cases, yes. We first need to identify the substance and assess whether it remains on the surface or has already damaged the clear coat.

Do you remove concrete and cement spots?

We also deal with concrete, cement and other construction or industrial contamination. The method depends on its age, extent and the paintwork's condition.

Could this damage be covered by insurance?

Some unexpected external damage may qualify for an insurance claim, depending on the policy and circumstances. The insurer always makes the compensation decision.

Can I clean the car before requesting an assessment?

Gentle routine cleaning may be fine, but for paint dust, concrete or unknown chemicals, avoid aggressive solvents, scraping and heavy polishing until the damage has been assessed.
